Ewan McAllister is one of two owners of Trac-wesT Machinery based in Landsdale and operating since October 2001.

Their core business is to manufacture and install rail guidance units to vehicles which allow them to both operate on road and rail. Trac-wesT Machinery also provides a mechanical and fabrication service for trucks and earthmoving equipment.

Ewan has been on the board of Small Business Centre North West Metro since October 2008. He is also a board member of the Wanneroo Business Association (since July 2007). Previously Ewan has have acted as a union representative in the iron ore and gold mining industries, volunteer ambulance and fire brigade member and held various positions of leadership within the local church.

Ewan enjoys being actively involved in the local community and has lived and worked in Wanneroo since 1992. He says "The SBC Board provides me with the opportunity to return to the community some of the assistance provided by others to myself."
